H Exp – Mechanics 03 – Measurement of Acceleration

Aim – To measure the acceleration due to gravity

Instructions

▪ Release the mask so that it cuts the light beam
▪ Note the value of the acceleration
▪ Repeat 10 times
▪ Calculate the mean value of acceleration and the random uncertainty
