Aim – To calculate the acceleration due to gravity using s = ut +1/2 at²

Instructions

▪ Use the rule to measure the distance between the bottom of the ball and the trapdoor
▪ Release the ball 5 times and find the average time it takes to reach the trapdoor
▪ Use the equation s = ut + 1/2 at² to calculate the acceleration due to gravity
▪ Estimate the uncertainty in your answer
