Aim – To measure and compare the densities of solid and liquid substances

Instructions

▪ Measure the length of a side of each cube
▪ Calculate the density of each of the solids (in kg m^-3)
▪ Present your results in table form
▪ Click on Liquids to change to measuring the densities of liquids
▪ Measure the mass (in g) and volume (in cm³ ) of each liquid (remember to zero the balance)
▪ Convert the mass to kg and the volume to m³. Calculate the density of each liquid
▪ Present your results in table form
▪ Compare the results for the densities of solids and liquids
